The SOLOMON PUQ Cajon Pickup is a first-of-it’s kind dynamic, tactile transducer, meaning it gathers it’s signal directly from the structure of the cajon, thereby providing increased headroom compared to standard cajon microphone options. The PUQ also attaches directly to the instrument via the cajon sound hole in under 20 seconds, greatly reducing setup and breakdown time.
Several features set the PUQ apart from conventional cajon-mic’ing options:
- Tactile transducer; means better feedback control and headroom Non-permanent installation; adjustable L-bracket for different cajon dimensions Neutrik/REAN 1⁄4” connects easily to DI or effect pedals
- Aircraft aluminum powder-coated chassis for added durability
- Dynamic pickup motor does NOT require phantom power or batteries
- Wired with Mogami cable
Designed and developed by SOLOMON designer Henry French, and is assembled by hand in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
